As part of a BHM course, candidates are taught about different facets of the hospitality industry. Thus, in a BHM course aspirants are taught food and beverage preparation, housekeeping operations, front office operations, computer applications, business communication, accommodation operation, corporate finance, sales, marketing, public relations etc. BHM course is known to have theory as well as practical subjects.

The Department has always been on a high growth path and has experienced and dedicated faculty with strong commitment to Hotel education who work with zeal and enthusiasm to provide a vibrant and optimum learning environment.
The growth of expertise in the department is commendable. In keeping with the department’s vision, the holistic development of the students is focused upon that instills a habit of continued learning and a sense of responsibility in them to contribute towards the betterment of the society.
The periodically updated curriculum imparts Hotel knowledge to the students and the practical knowledge regarding the different departments of hotels. The students are motivated to participate in paper presentation, practical and grooming that are essential to maintaining proficiency. Cultural activities are also promoted through various clubs at the departmental and university level.
A strong positive reputation of the department pulls international internship in different countries as well as national internship in five stars hotels. A large percentage of students also qualify for pursuing higher studies.

Admission Procedure for BHM
A minimum of CGPA “C” with not less than D+ in individual subjects in +2 or equivalent exams. Students will then have to appear for the WhiteHouse Management Admissions Test (WMAT).
